I am a photographer and filmmaker based in northern Norway, working primarily with landscape, wildlife, and the people who live close to it. My work is rooted in the particular light and silence of the north — a place where seasons arrive with force and leave reluctantly.
I picked up a camera to show what was around me — the landscape, the wildlife, the quiet moments that most people walk past. I started in the south of Norway, but it was moving north that changed everything. Up here, the scale is different, the light is different, and something clicked into place that I hadn't found before.
My photography spans close-up macro work of plants and insects, wide-field landscape and seascape photography, wildlife encounters — northern Norwegian fauna, birds, white-tailed eagles — and cinematic short-form films shot with both drone and handheld cameras.
